On Saturday, March 8th, the NHHS Wind Ensemble (also known as the Band in concert mode) will perform at the Pacific Coast Region Wind Band Festival held at CSU Long Beach. We encourage parents to attend this free concert and support our band as they perform in the beautiful Carpenter Performing Arts Center!Students will also participate in a 40-minute clinic and have the opportunity to watch other ensembles perform, including the CSULB Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony. This experience will help students develop proper concert etiquette, enhance their analytical listening skills, and support fellow musicians and music programs from Southern California. A team meal will be provided. We hope to see you there!
Concert Dress Code:
Boys - Black suit jacket, white long-sleeve button-down dress shirt, black slacks, black dress shoes and socks, and a black long tie. (A solid black dress shirt may be substituted for students who do not have a black suit jacket.)
Girls - Long black dress (no spaghetti straps or strapless styles), or black dress pants or long skirt (below the knee) paired with a black dress blouse/top.
