If any of our returning members are interested in participating in the LAUSD All City Honor Marching Band this year, the auxiliary, percussion, and drum major auditions will be on Saturday, September 21, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It will take place at El Sereno Middle School, and there will not be a bus - everybody must arrive with their own ride. These auditions are only for color guard members who would like to try out for the flag line or shield line, and band members who are trying out for drumline or drum major. Students have to have completed at least one year in the Royal Regiment to be eligible. Brass players simply show up to the first rehearsal with their paperwork. Eligible students can get forms from Mr. Sharp.
All City rewards its members with 200 community service hours, gives students the opportunity to perform in the New Year's Rose Parade and at Disneyland, and is overall a very rewarding experience!
